Special cookery demonstrations and the chance to win more than £200-worth of kitchen kit proved to be a huge hit with visitors to a new cookware showroom in Leominster on Saturday.
Staff welcomed more than 60 people to a special open day at the AGA Twyford showroom at Marches Trade Park on Saturday (October 1).
Betty’s luscious baking hamper worth more than £200 was also up for grabs as part of a special charity raffle and so far staff and visitors have raised £130 for Make-A-Wish Foundation. The lucky winner will receive an array of baking products including an AGA Kmix hand mixer.
Demonstrations led by Rangemaster specialist Lindsey Payne and Marcia Poole also proved popular and top jam-maker, Sara-Jane Brough from The Ludlow Jam Pan was also on hand to make delicious Japonica ornamental quince and coriander jelly.
AGA Twyford moved to Leominster Enterprise Park relocating in the large purpose built fac
tory, offices and showroom. The showroom has been designated as a Deluxe Design Centre by AGA Rangemaster Ltd and is featured on the Rangemaster website.
Rose Norman for AGA Twyford said: “We were delighted with the turnout on Saturday. The Betty Shop is looking simply stunning with lots of new product lines for the kitchen, home and
garden.
“The move means that many more of the products will be constantly on show allowing prospective customers to take their time when it comes to choosing their dream
kitchen.”
The showroom is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
